For Project Supporters

Project supporters should be at least 18 years of age and over to fund a project. Our site accepts PayPal for payment processing.

For Project Creators

Project Creators should be at least 18 years of age with a verified PayPal account. Verified means you have provided additional evidence of your identity to PayPal which earns your more trust with your supporters.

By entering into PATH’s User Agreement, Project Creators agree not to sell or abuse other users’ personal information. Abuse is defined as spamming, using the user’s information for any purpose other than those explicitly specified in the Project Creator’s Project, or is not related to fulfilling delivery of a reward explicitly specified in the Project Creator’s Project.

PATH is committed to protecting your privacy and has created this statement in order to demonstrate our commitment to privacy. This Statement of Privacy applies to Philamthropy.com website and governs data collection and usage. By using Philamthropy.com you consent to the data practices described here.

To protect your privacy and personal information, PATH confirms that:

  1. PATH will not loan, rent, or sell, to any third parties, any personal details that have been passed on to us without explicit prior permission.
  2. Personal information that you have provided to fund a project, is shared only with the payment processing company (PayPal) to facilitate the funding process.  Please refer to PayPal’s privacy policy on how they handle your information.  PATH does not have access to your credit card or bank information.
  3. Project creators will only have access to their supporters information only if the project has successfully reached its goal amount for the purpose of communicating with their supporters on their rewards and delivery of these rewards.
  4. For your convenience, you may use your social media’s username and password to register for PATH’s services. PATH has no access to your social media’s username and password. PATH has no control on how your information collected by the third party social media application provider and is governed by their privacy policies.
  5. PATH collects no user information from the website except what is required for system administration of the web server and to send updates.

User Information

We reserve the right to suspend an account if user violates our guidelines and abuses the use of PATH’s services (i.e. spamming, copyright violation, fraudulent project posting).

We reserve the right to disclose your personal information as required by law when such action is deemed necessary to comply with state and federal copyright law.

Any personal information that you supply online is automatically available to the public. As with any other website, please use caution when posting personal information.
